Creation and God's Mercy
by Paul Walerczak
The whitetail season has officially arrived in Indiana and throughout the majority of the country. We have already began to see a few great bucks harvested in our area.
Yesterday morning was simply a picture perfect time to be in the whitetail woods. The temperature was 47 degrees, light winds out of the north, a blue bird sky, and there were lots of critters waking up after sunrise. It was simply one of those magical moments when you feel so small in the midst of all that God has created.
Midway through the hunt there was a lull in all of the hustle and bustle of the various morning routines of the critters that were around me. This allowed sometime to pull out my I-Touch and read the Bible. There is always such a deep connection with Almighty God our creator when we will take time to read His word while setting on stand witnessing all that He has created.
After reading several chapters in the book of John my thoughts turned to the book of Psalms. My fingers turned the electronic pages of scripture to Psalm 136. The following short video is the result of those precious moments spent on stand with my Creator and Heavenly Father.
As always I hope these words are an encouragement to you as you wrap up your week!
In His Grace,
Since a young age Pastor Paul has had a love for the outdoors. After he became a Christian in October of 1994 God began to use the great outdoors to demonstrate to Pastor Paul the eternal truths of scripture. In this section he will share some of these thoughts via written or audio devotionals.
